Collaboration with Yahoo Maps
Nokia and Yahoo have started a new global partnership to create an enhanced experience for its users that will help them to communicate as well as locate. It has been decided in the collaboration that Yahoo will host Nokia’s Ovi email on phones exclusively and on the other hand Nokia will provide Ovi Maps and location based services to Yahoo.
While talking about this new deal the Nokia’s CEO said that “We’re enabling millions of Yahoo! customers in key markets including North America to discover the unique capabilities that Ovi Maps brings” while the CEO of Yahoo also showed up quite excitement for this new deal “We’re excited to expand the reach of our best-in-class Mail and Messenger services, bringing personalized experiences to more people across the mobile Web, particularly in emerging markets where we are seeing the next generation of Yahoo! Users”.
Thus the coordination among both of these companies will work in the best regard for both of them, it has been seen that Nokia has spent more than $10 billion in just a few years to built up its business over the internet but now the integration of yahoo’s services in to that will be able to earn more for the company.
