Mobile phone manufacturers are in great trouble these days. Now, it is not only about the call quality and user friendly interface; they have to think about consider MPs of camera and Frames per Sec of videos, supported audio and video formats, EDGE and 3G, GPS and WLAN, motion based gaming and accelerometer, what not and what not. Samsung has tried to offer nice features in all these categories, and has given it the name of Samsung Omnia.

Features

Its touch screen and TouchWiz user interface is the highlighting feature. The 3.2 inches TFT Touchscreen display works nicely, though is not awesome. Entering text has many options; on screen full QWERTY keyboard (called Samsung Keyboard), Block Recognizer, Transcriber etc. With the TouchWiz interface, users are able to customize their home screens with various widgets. There are 16 widgets to choose from.

Wireless connectivity is great with Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, 3G and WLAN. GPS is a helping tool supported with aGPS. Nice OS, handy software and multimedia capabilities ad to its charm.

It is equipped with a nice 5 MP camera with digital zoom, flash, auto focus, panorama mode, antishake, face detection, and SmileShot.  You will get three quality settings and six size options in still image mode, 15 shooting modes, white balance adjustment, various effects, ISO settings and 3 quality settings and three size options in video mode.

Final Words:

Price factor aside, the phone is packed with almost all the required latest features, and is a good performer. Looks and performance have joined together to create Samsung Omnia.
