The internet usage by the orange users is restricted under certain circumstances. Orange has announced that the streaming services available for the orange customers will now be available in some limited amount. According to the orange associates “we do not intend to apply network protection controls, as long as customers remain within their usage allowance.” The iphone users mostly works on streaming services like spotify facebook, yahoo and many more.
Although the news was quite strange for the iphone users yet orange on its behalf is pretty true. As the streaming services are mostly liked by the peoples and due to that so many signals coming towards it may block the network of Orange mobiles, that’s the reason why orange is giving restriction to its users. The main thought behind that could be that orange company is always committed fot the user’s help and network blockage may affect it.
Now many people think/predict that O2 will also going to implement this concept for the betterment of its network. In his BBC blog today Cellan-Jones suggests that “it sounds as though services like Spotify, AudioBoo, Ustream and even Facebook messaging - increasingly popular with O2 iPhone customers - will be out of bounds for Orange users.”
So we can say that although the new news might affect the orange’s popularity yet it won’t be too much as the quality of network would be better than before.
